IRO Timber

IRO Timber is an exclusive range of coloured cladding products developed by one of the UK’s largest sawmill groups, BSW Timber.

IRO means ‘colour’ in Japanese. Inspired by the ancient Japanese method of charring timber – Yakisugi, IRO is preservative treated to Use Class 3, heat enhanced, brushed and coated in Rubio Monocoat cream. It is durable and offers a striking grain appearance.

IRO external timber cladding has a squared edged profile and is made from UK Larch – available in range of on-trend colours, including greys, blacks and soft browns.

Applying IRO's touch-up cream every 3-5 years, helps maintain the water repellency and colour of the timber and keeps the UV resistance stable.
